Yes, I went to Surfa's! I had been told by some very reliable sources that it was an amazing place, and I agree. I enjoyed everything I got to see of it. I had a roasted veggie panino in Café Surfas. Took a couple of photos. Bought a couple of things (one of which I've been looking for for a couple of years now...namely a "cannellee" mold!!! (Also spelled: cannelé, cannellé, cannellet, etc.). It's a wonderful pastry from Bordeaux, I'll post something on my foodie blog, Domestic Magirics, when I make some....
Then, after such a wonderful display, I went to Trader Joe's, and experienced a whole other kind of experience (related but different).
